She feels strongly that a genuine and meaningful spiritual path includes not only personal transformation, but social and cultural transformation as well, and an emphasis on modern cultural values such as racial and gender justice and environmental awareness.

Author of Healing Resistance: A Radically Different Response to Harm. He works with incarcerated people, youth, and activists from around the country. He has over 20 years of experience in nonviolence and social change work, having played leading roles in various movements and organizations. He now resides in Lisjan Ohlone land, a.k.a Oakland, CA.
